Turbo Jam or Turbo Fire - Which should I go with?

Hey all. I'm looking into purchasing a new program, because I want something that's a little less intense than the P90X that I have to start off with, and I want to lose a good amount of weight before my wedding in July. I've looked at both Turbo Jam and Turbo Fire, but haven't been able to decide which one would be better to go with. I love dance workouts and both seem really fun. I'm also interested in getting the best results possible. What are your opinions?

THey are both alsome!!! I would go with both, turbo fire is way more intense than turbo jam...you could maybe do turbo jam on ur off days0

I have Turbo Jam and I absolutely love it, but I have had it for a couple of years and now I am looking at Turbo Fire! Either way you are going to get a great workout, I have lost 18 pounds so far after having a baby with doing Turbo Jam and watching my diet. Hope this helps!0

Turbo Jam is less intense than Turbo Fire. They bother have jumping around and dance type moves but Turbo Fire has a lot of jumping. But it's a lot of fun. I'm doing Turbo Fire right now and I've been doing it since it came out.
So if you are new to the "dancey" type of workouts I would go with Turbo Jam. If you feel you can pick up moves pretty quickly and can go hard with the workouts then I would go with Turbo FIre.
Message me if you have any more questions.0 -
TURBO FIRE!!! If you are scared of it, don't be. Each DVD has a "new to class" option that breaks down all the moves for you, so you can get the hang of it. And everything can be modified for beginners! I love Turbo Fire, and I've done both!!0

I love both of these......Turbo Fire is a lot more intense! They are both fun and I love the music. If your pretty decent at Cardio I would just go ahead and get TurboFire, but if you are slowly building your cardio then start with TurboJam. Also TurboJam is a lot cheaper since it is an older program.....0

I've done Turbo Jam and loved it! I'm sure Turbo Fire is just as great0

Turbo Jam is a lot of fun and less intense than TurboFire. If you want great results either program will do the job, but TurboFire will get you even better results. Its an awesome program...intense, but awesome! ..Just my opinion0

Turbo Fire hands down. Way more fun, intense workouts but not ridiculously hard, and great music. I lost 18 lbs and 8 inches in my first round.

Okay....really leaning towards Turbo Fire....but concerned about the price. I suppose it's best to get the program from Beachbody, but on ebay, it's less than half the price. Which should I go with there?0

Blueviolet...my $0.02 on the subject of buying from BB or ebay/craigslist/etc.
When you buy from BB you get a lot of extras that are not available from any other source like free extra workouts (TF includes Greatest HIITs), any bands you might use, a meal plan, schedule, etc. PLUS you get a 90 day money back guarantee and access to customer service. If any of your discs are defective, BB will replace them but if you buy from another source you're stuck.
Hope that helps.

That does help. I think I will save up if I really want the TurboFire...although I might go with Turbo Jam based on the price. Still deciding....Thank you!0 -
I personally would buy on ebay. Check the description well, it might include the bands, meal plans etc...
And also check the return policy and rating of the seller, if they will replace it if it skips... then you might get a better deal...
but if you're buying a used set, then you never know.0 -
I would start with Turbo Jam. I did, and I'm happy I did. It got me ready to tackle Turbo Fire. I lost 25 lbs doing Turbo Jam, in just over a month and a half.0

I bought Turbo Jam on Amazon, and Turbo Fire on BB. I like both. Fire is WAY more intense, but both will give you a nice workout.
Seriously though, I did the 15 min hiit in Turbo Fire, and I could barely swallow water, I was shaking and breathing so hard. I'm kinda wimpy, though. Turbo Jam left me breathless and sweaty, but I could still drink water and I wasn't shaking like a leaf. :P
The reason I decided to buy Turbo Fire on BB, is because I wanted to make sure everything worked for the price. They also have this "warrenty" thingy you can purchase for a little extra and they cover your DVDs for life, so if something happens, they will send you a new one.0 -

I am a guy checking out this topic for my wife. Sounds like she needs Turbo Jam first not Turbo Fire, she may not be ready for Fire - knee and ankle issues. The reason I am quoting Sharon is I'm trying to resist my strong impulse to be angry with Beach Body. They don't warranty their products sold through others???? If my stereo manufacturer would not support the product because I bought it from Best Buy I would never buy their products again! Never! I got P90X through Amazon and got the meal plan and everything, but if BB would not replace a defective DVD then shame on them. I would publicly burn the whole set. OK, I really don't mean to rant. I love P90X and my wife has Slim in Six and P90. I want Insanity soon. But the idea that BB would not replace defective DVD's bought through a legitimate retailer really rubs me wrong. I won't buy from EBay or Amazon Marketplace for fear of rip off copies. And BB should not support products bought from bootleggers. But there are many legitimate authorized retailers like Amazon carrying BB products and those products should have the same level of support as one bought through BB. I'm ready to throw out my BB products if this is how they behave. Not really, but it makes me angry. Sharon or other BB coaches, please enlighten me if I am wrong. I love Tony, I don't want to hate BB.0 -
I have heard from others on another fitness site I go to that people who have purchased the beachbody DVDs off of Ebay or the like, have often times ended up being bootleg DVDs that don't always work well. So while it costs more, I would go through beachbody because at least then you get the warranty/return policies the others are talking about.
BTW-do you have a gym membership? My gym in my area has turbokick classes-which intensity wise is right in between jam and fire, PLUS you get the extra bonus of a live class. It kicks my butt every time!0 -
Actually, I bought Turbo Fire off of amazon for $80 and got all the extras, the band, schedule, meal plan etc.0
