Hi everyone. My name's Brittany & my short term goal is to lose 15 lbs. My long term goal is to learn to incorporate exercise into my daily life & learn to eat a little healthier. I'm married, go to school full time, and work part time. So basically...I have no free time! I have several reasons for wanting to work out, from shallow to serious- I want to get rid of the flabby parts that are starting to develop, I know it's just the healthy & smart thing to do, it reduces my stress, it makes me feel better about myself, etc. I have been at least thinking about this lifestyle change for about a year, and I've had several successful starts but always seem to loose my motivation and just quit. I'm hoping that being a part of this site will hold me accountable and help me keep going when I loose my initial determination. Um I guess that's it for now, but I'm looking forward to "meeting" everyone!

Welcome! You'll find everything you need here. Just log on everyday and enter your food intake. Make sure you don't lie and stay within your limits. Good luck.

Welcome!! One thing to not say is that you don't have time....everyone has time you just have to make it work. I have two Jobs as well as 2 volunteer jobs. On days where you know you have to work late or go to school late -- get up early in the morning and go for a jog for half an hour. Those little tid bits of where you can fit exercise in are great. You do not have to work out all at once. Maybe half hour in the morning before work or school then half hour later that day. That's an hour more than you were doing before! Good luck and keep at it!
  • Well, I do feel like I have no time some days so I'm not going to change what I said. I am doing my best to fit my exercise into the time I have, however, so I'm not going to worry about semantics.
