I've noticed on days when i don't feel like wearing makeup or getting dressed up for work and such that its becoming easier to just throw anything on. I know part of it is because i have to worry less about fat rolls as I go down in pant sizes the only problem i'm really having is my pants not staying on hm.
anyone else finding it easier to be lazy when it comes to that? ... essentially looking decent or like a person in less time than before..:indifferent:

Actualyl when I was overweight and HATED how I looked, I pulled my hair back into a pony tail EVERYDAY, and wore minimum makeup. Now that I am enjoying my body more I do my hair everyday, wear nice clothes, and do full makeup0

oh me too but the days when i have to rush or just feel really tired and don't want to do that... is what i mean lol0

its making me hopeful that summer wont be as miserable for me this year... aside from the being scorched to death by the desert sun lol0

I never wear makeup, I never do my hair (always in a bun or ponytail) and I never dress up... even at work. I definately have self-esteem issues and I hope losing weight may change that.0

I dress up more as I lose weight. I think its just easier to get my big butt out of bed at a decent time to give myself time to look good.0

I feel the same way. Even though my loss is a small percentage of what I have left to lose, I still can leave the house in whatever I throw on and feel pretty without all my usual makeup. I havent felt like that in a long time! I know that its because I'm feeling so much healthier and my self-respect is growing so much. It makes all the difference in the world. Plus, stuff fits better. That is always nice. (:0

You know, I've been thinking about this all week. I always wanted to be one of those moms/women who I would see in the grocery store in a tank top and jeans or yoga pants/sweats, with their hair pulled back and maybe some masacara...yet they still managed to look cute. At 270 pounds, all I looked when I tried that was sloppy. So now it's actually kind of fun to throw on some leggings and a t-shirt and run a couple errands without having to feel like I'm getting ready for the prom. I've still got about 24 pounds til I hit my goal weight, but I'm feeling more comfortable with myself.
Don't get me wrong, I am having more fun dressing up and looking cute now, but it's nice to know I have to option on a day I'm off work and need to do some running around. I think I get what you're saying.0 -
I have to say when I was heavier, I never wanted to wear makeup and anything but sweats. Now that I am losing weight, I try to put make up and fix my hair. My sister in law was the same way0

Haha, but unless men are... ahem... stupid, they can just click your name for your pics!!0 -
i dont see makeup as a requirement for looking decent. i am a die hard feminist and totally against make up and 'dressing like a girl/woman should'. dress with what makes you comfy.0

Yup... however, I am CERTAINLY not a threat to any women lol0 -
No difference for me, hair and make up always done, trousers and blouse. I have never owned track pants, jogging suit etc and never will. if i'm not going out the house there is obviously less effort, maybe thats because the weight piled on very quickly, I really hadn't got used to the fact that I was fat...and I never wanted to!!0

ya.. I remember i used to wear skirts and jeans every day.. then i started to wear trouser pants from where i worked that we sold... and ended up gaining weight... now i can wear jeans again and ... i'm definately making an effort to stay out of stretchy type pants other than the gym and other than pjs at home cuz i basically live in my pj pants when i'm at home lol cuz there's no room for any weight gain if i do keep wearing the jeans. its fantastic.
I wouldn't be caught dead walking around in this world... of course i mean outside walking to and or from the gym or at the gym... wearing track clothes or sweatpants ... its just... undecent to me. I get the femanist thing ... but i also think its stupid to be against it completely.. i don't do it to fit into the norm of a social expectation or to attract a mans attention.. my bf loves me with or without makeup and I don't HAVE to wear makeup to look pretty ... some girls do... i know that may be mean... but its kinda true. and its not anything to be ashamed of its just how it is. some women have more of a natural beauty than others.
I do it for me. I do it because I like to highlight my eyes and bring out my cheekbones... for myself. no one else. and that's really how it should be... so i'm not against makeup. but i think that it shouldn't be a... 'i need to wear this or no one will think i'm pretty' thing. everyone should look as good as they can look because everyone has some potential... *** but EVERYONE should practice hygiene... i can't stand people who don't shower or brush their teeth or whatever if they can... its just plain ridiculas***** why not feel good about yourself... I find as i lose more weight the more i feel prettier... i feel like i look healthier... and that in itself can make ya happy hehe.0
