Oops, ate too many Pringles Light

I was sooo excited about finding Pringles Light chips. They were low in cals and so tasty! BUT... having gone overboard with excitement, I ate too many. Now I'm not feeling well... lower GI is messed up something fierce. Beware, any of you with sensitive digestion systems! I also went "up" in weight today, which I think is due to the fact they are high in sodium, and of course, I ate too many. However, I'm not planning on doing that again! Just a warning in case you like to go overboard with things like me. Hopefully the water weight (guessing that's what it is since I stayed within my calories) will go away in the next day or two.

I've started buying things in 100 calorie packs. They have the individual servings of pringles now too! If I do purchase a large bag, I get sandwich baggies and divide the bag up into singe serving pouches. They are easy to grab and go, and I get to eat the whole bag. I know once I'm done that I didn't go overboard and I get the pleasure of eating the whole bag. Eating overboard was one of my problems. I had to eat until it was gone, even if I was full. This helps me with my portion control. Hope it helps you!0

Hi I've been guilty of that myself! Chips are hard to eat just a few so I try to just avoid them. i like having something crunchy though as a snack. You might try carrot or celery sticks, radishes, unsalted almonds, (love the emerald cocoa roast almonds in the 100 calorie packs), 100 calorie popcorn if you need that crunch. Try drinking more water too to flush all that sodium. I've lowered my sodium intake on here which seems to get the pounds down too. Good luck to you. You can do this:)0

Been there and done that...Pringles are EVIL!! But YUMMY!!
I tried the light ones but I went overboard on them also so...NOPE. Don't want them...well I do, but I don't :bigsmile:0 -
I'm an all or nothing kind of guy - not good with moderation. Chips are my biggest weakness. I can eat a whole can of Pringles and no matter how much I promise myself that I will count out the correct number of chips I just cannot control myself once I start. But I can go weeks with no chips - I have to go without; it is my only option. Like I said, all or nothing. I hate it, but it's me. Blue Diamond Oven Roasted Almonds - unsalted are my substitute for chips. And I can eat too many of them!0

not sure if its the same in the states as the uk but in england pringles come in tubes and its true what they say once you pop you just can't stop, they do a small tube here as well which you assume is one serving but nope i think its actually 2 from what i remember (its been a while since i had them, it certainly more than one serving though), chips (my word its wierd not saying crisps) are my weakness so i confess i regularly eat too many0
