Eating 1200 calories a day I weigh 155.8 lb, how much weight

I don't have time to exercise coz of work so I have bought am exercise DVD to do about 3 days a week so on the days I dont get to do it can I still lose weight by eating only 1200 calories!

    You should lose weight if you only eat 1200 cals. I personally find it difficult to eat only 1200 cals so exercise gives you the added benefit of giving you more cals to eat. I almost always eat my excercise cals or even a bit more.

    First, you need to make sure that your "lifestyle" is accurately calculated in your set up when you started MFP, if that is correct, it will tell you how many calories you need to eat in order to lose weight. Any and all exercising you can do above and beyond that is "bonus" in every aspect of the word:

    calorie burn
    fitness
    endurance
    general health and well being
    etc

    If 1200 cal/day is a lower number of calories than your body burns in an average day (essentially if your profile is set with the accurate activity level and MFP sets your 'maintenance ' level above 1200/day, then yes in THEORY it would still be beneficial to your weight loss goals.

    ...but, as usual, I may not know what I am talking about. ^_^
