I'm doing my first race tomorrow ever, the Pat Tillman Race, it's a 5k. Just curious if anyone has good tips, suggestions of things they found useful, etc.

Start out slower than you think you need to and take your first walk break early. My most important walk break is the one that is 4 minutes into the race! It allows me reset my pace calm the adrenaline down, etc. Say hello and thanks to all of the volunteers. Pick a slower person in front of you and keep them in your sites while you slowly pass them! Have a great time... you can do this!0
