Since you asked. . . . . this is my suggestion, I'm not TELLING you, I am suggesting. It's ultimately up to you to do what you feel is best for you, but I would suggest that you add, sugar and sodium to your food diary just so you can SEE the sodium amounts and sugar amounts in what you are eating, I think you might be surprised. I track both of these things and as much as I HATE to see myself go over the sugar regularly, it DOES make me more AWARE of how much of it is in my food that I eat. Just a suggestion. I don't know what kind of medication you are on but that CAN cause weight resistance. But you could try my suggestion for 3 or 4 weeks and see how it goes and if you don't like it you can switch them off. Oh and my constant mantra: WATER WATER WATER WATER. The more you drink the more you will want to drink and it will help flush the "toxins" out quicker. I didn't like drinking water at first either but you have to teach yourself to do it and it gets easier. I really believe it aids greatly in weight loss. I use to drink a ton of diet coke and then I quit and went to just water and I started to drop weight much quicker. Good luck!!0

I just reread you post. Steroids can most definitely cause weight loss resistance or even weight gain. But all the more reason to drink more water. I believe if you are taking a steroid you should drink more water. That's what I have heard anyway:) My other thought is have you ever had your thyroid levels checked? This definitely plays a roll in weight loss resistance:( Just a thought.0
