Rainbow Trout DELISH!
Just wanted to let you guys know about this quick easy treat I've been making lately...mmmmm...
Rainbow trout has been on sale lately at my grocery store so I take one fish fillet, some italian bread crumbs, an egg, and some lemon juice. Whisk the egg, dip the fish, cover it in crumbs, throw some vegetable oil in the pan, fry it up, spray with lemon juice and voila! delicious treat that hits all the right spots in the tummy and in the calorie, fat, protein, carb area.
One fillet is about 500 cal with the bread crumbs and two tbsp of oil. Just add a side of veggies (last night I did brussel sprouts) and it is fabulous! It seems like a lot of cal for one fish fillet, but it's a really good, super quick (less than 10 min) way to end the night. And it's good for you!
