Mine was sitting in my highchair eating pancakes, with my little fork. It had a yellow end on it and I use to chew it because I thought it was candy. Figures it was an eating memory.

My first memory is when I was three, seriously late memory. We lived in Los Angeles while waiting for our house to be built. Just a random memory of my brother and me playing.

I remember staring at a pink wall. We moved out of that house when I was 1 1/2. My first action memory is kindergarten - I started when I was four, and I remember several things from it, but couldn't tell you which one was first in the year.

    My teacher was absolutely beautiful.

I peed my pants and had to wear pink houdstooth pants that were six inches too long.

I got home from school one day and the fire department was at my house, the bus driver took me to my grandma's. Everyone was fine, except the cat who had to grow all her hair back.

I have a hard time determining what's a memory or what I think is a memory based on seeing old home movies. However, having said that, my first verifiable memory is of feeding my baby sister some dirt with a hollow white plastic chess piece when she was sitting in her high chair; I was about 2 1/2 at the time.

I believe my first memory is probably when I was laying in front of the tv and looking back at my grandpa. This is my only memory of him as he died when I was really young, just don't remember how old at the moment.

I remember that day too, I was in 2nd grade. The nuns came in and told us. We left early that day and when I got home my older sister and mom were crying too.

He didn't shot her, but never saw her again, that night, from what I am told, my grams came and got me, and kept me and raised me from that point on...

Sounds like your grandpa had an impact on you.

You sound like my daughter. Her brother and cousins were always tormenting her. I was always yelling.

Mine was me in a really big crib on wheels eating a purple posicle. My mom says that is from when I was about 2 1/2 and my lung collapsed. The big crib was the hospital child area and I had a grape posicle after the procedure. Otherwise, no memories until I was about 5.

I think I was about 1 or 1 1/2.... I remember sitting on the floor surrounded in glass as I had just pulled down a glass shelf and my dad was passed out drunk on the floor beside me..... still have visions of it like it happened yesterday.

it was 32 years ago when they passed, these are good memories, I survived and I think that was what was supposed to happen. Do not feel bad for me, join me in celebrating my life. Memories serve as a connection to those that are no longer with us. So, thank you for asking the question.

I remember seeing my mom working at a diner called the BrightSpot in Alton, IL. See said there is no way I could remember that because she was pregnant with me at the time. I was able to tell her what she wore, and describe things around the diner.

I was three and my folks were re-painting the house and apparently I sat right in the paint tray used for the paint roller!
They must have thought it was funny (I don't associate the memory w/ getting lectured) and to this day I still like house painting and the smell of housepaint.
