Have you heard of a Miracle Ball?? http://www.amazon.com/Miracle-Ball-Method-Relieve-Included/dp/0761128689/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1302892316&sr=1-1

I have pinched my sciatic nerve twice in my life. That thing can take forever to heal. However, my pain went away everyday when I tried these two little inflated balls. Nothing crazy to do with them, just lay them down under your lower back in a specific spot and then under your knees for five to ten minutes a day. Sounds too simple. However, it's all about gently realigning your bones and muscles with your own body weight so they don't press on the nerve. When I used them every day I had no pain throughout the day. When I didn't use them, I had pain. Obviously the experience will vary from person to person. But for me, and for a friend that I recommended this, it really worked.
