Enell : Question for the busty ladies

I'm going to order myself an Enell sports bra but want to know if I should buy them in 1 size smaller so they'll last a bit longer. I have lost 5 inch around the bust in the past 6 months and am anticapting that I'll keep losing more inches. I do not want to spend so much money on a sports bra that will only last 1-2 months. My question is when you order them in the correct size, how snug did it feel? I want my "girls" to stay in one place, not up and down when I'm doing the jumping jacks.

They are pretty tight and there is absolutely zero stretch in the material. Mine lasted 8 months before I need a smaller size, but I didn't lose that many inches so quickly! (you rock!) If you have a specialty bra shop in your area you may want to call and see if they carry them. I found out the one in my city did have them and I was able to try them on. I cannot recommend this bra enough, the girls do not move and the construction of the bra is top notch. The one I wore for 8 months is still in great shape even though I wore it 6 days a week with who knows how many washings. The biggest sign of wear is the paint chipping off of the hooks! I hope this helps!
Also, you could call them. I think they have a number on the site you can call.
Good luck!0 -
I'm not sure of the fastenings of those bras but could a bra extender help in that situation? Pretty cheap on Ebay and haberdasheries0

I do have a bra extender, but those Enell sprots bra looks like they have this long fastner in the front.0

Awwwweeesommmme! I just bought one this morning! I don't have it yet, but I can't wait until it comes. I think Karincakes pretty much nailed it--get fitted if you can. I heard they fit pretty snug so you would probably be fine with ordering your correct size. You wouldn't want to buy one smaller and then be uncomfortable as you work your way down.
I bought an Enell in my correct size this morning and I bought a cheaper one (different brand--Glamorise) but in a smaller band size just in case I outgrow--I mean outshrink--the Enell, I'll have one on hand to keep the girls in check. My band size has never been smaller than a 38 so it's (the smaller one) is bound to fit.
**And yes they hook in the front**0 -
Yeah, they hook in the front and I just counted my hooks, (yes, I'm wearing it now lol) and there are 10!
If you buy one that is too much smaller you will either not be able to fasten it AT ALL or not be able to BREATHE. The one I'm in now I bought about a month ago because I thought I had shrunk enough to need a smaller one. Uh...yeah... I could get it on but there was no exercising in that thing. I couldn't even take a deep breath. Then once I could actually breathe in it, I had to get used to the tightness again. I still can't eat anything while I'm wearing it. No kidding. :laugh:0 -
Thanks for the replies! I am looking up for those bras on EBAY in my current size.0

i started wearing 2 bras and that does the job for me. i have a cheap sports bra from target or kmart or something, and another crop top type one over the top.... my sports bra is getting a bit loose at the moment, and the crop top i bought a little bit tight, but the girls don't move... i presume in the next month or 2 i'll have to get myself a new sports bra, and i think i'll stick with the cheapos and double up.
i can't believe the different. i was all over the shop when i just wore one normal cheap sports bra, and now, i can jump up and down with virtually no movement.0 -

It works because there is no stretch:-) Buy it to fit now. Because of how well it works it will still be doable after some weight loss.
I struggled on principal about buying it due to price, but then realized that if it helps me exercise, then I will be saving money on health costs. I don't buy myself things very often, but felt that I really needed for my health.0 -

I completely agree with that. I've been looking at one for a year but I always said "It costs too much". But at the end of it all, heart surgery, diabetes medicine, high bp medication, and frequent dr visits will cost me way more than a $60 bra.0 -
I have it in the "1". My bust measurement is 38 1/2 and my rib cage is 30 1/2.0
