Broad Backs

I already posted this, but maybe it will be more successful here... hopefully.

So, I have a broad back. I mean, it's not my favorite part of my body because broad backs aren't really too.. feminine. However, I have learned to be content with it. The only problem I have is that since my back is so broad that some dresses do not fit and I have to go a size up, and then get everything else altered.

So my question is, is there anything I could do to slim up my back?

I have been doing tons of cardio, and some back exercises 3 days a week (light weight, more reps)

Should I continue to just do this and hope for results or is there something more specific I should try?
Any advice to specific exercises that would help me out with this?

Thanks guys!

I think that is just one of those things you have to accept about yourself. If there is no fat there then its all bone and muscle and there is no answer.

When you say broad back do you mean it's muscular or is there weight to lose or firm up?

For me its all of the above.... I know alot of it is just bone structure, but when I have worked it out in the past I have gotten bulky muscles instead of just losing the fatty areas.

It's just the structure of my body. Broad shoulders, broad back.

They're wider than normal, it's not fat, just, how I am built.

You might get some narrowing from stretching exercises. Youtube has a lot of ballet stretching videos you might want to look at and see if something looks helpful.

Are you sure you got bulky muscles, and not that you got muscles underneath the fat and that made them look bulky. I was reading an response to a letter about that same sort of thing for thighs on a woman and the person response was that she would have to put up with it until the fat went away allowing the muscle to be seen.
