100 push up and 200 squat challenges

This morning I decided to start out the 100 push and 200 squat challenges. I started the 100 push up challenge over the summer but only made in about 2.5 weeks or so. This will be my first time doing the squat challenge. However, I really want to work out my legs and think this might be a good thing to do. I will alternate my days between the two challenges. However, I will do the initial test for both today.
I finish 21 standard push ups for the push up challenge so that puts me in level 3 for Week 1. I did 50 squats. That puts me in the excellent group and I will skip ahead to Week 3 because of this. OH BOY MY LEGS ARE BURNING!!
Has anyone every done either of these challenges? How did they work for you and did you see results? I am also thinking that I will do the sit up challenge but not sure if I will do it at the same time or if I will wait until I finish one of the other challenges (most likely the squat since that should only be an 3 week program for me).

They are 6 week programs that only take about 30 mins a week.
