Probiotics?

During a recent trip to Wholefoods, I saw some probiotics in the refrigerated section. I've read good things about them and I'm thinking of taking some. As anyone else tried them? If so, have you noticed any differences?

I started taking acidophilus supplements and it has made me more regular, which is what I was going for. But it also made me gassy for the first two weeks or so.0

there are differing views on them, they certainly helped my ibs, but there are claims out there that the bottles of activia and yakult etc don't contain enough of the good bacteria to make a difference, i think its a case of try em and if they help you keep taking them if not, save your money in future.
i'm sure someone will be along with a more informed opinion0
