Efficient Workout?

Hi guys,

So I'm new to the whole gym thing. At present I am doing 3 sessions per week, 30 mins cardio and 30 mins strength 3x12. I also walk to the gym and back, all together 90 mins.

Is this enough to tone up? and how long untill i see some results?
