Joan Jett - Bad Reputation has been my workout music for a while. High energy rock & roll. And the English Beat - Just Can't Stop It.

If you have digital cable, turn on the electronic dance music TV station. I don't know if you like that stuff, but it's high energy and you feel like you're in the club for a little bit.

Hi! I personally like a mix of high-energy dance/pop songs and rock n' roll. They keep you motivated, and unlike soothing music, it is sometimes easier to push yourself to them. Follow the beat. Close your eyes and just work out.
90's and 80's classic dance, hip-hop, pop, etc seem to be really good for me. But, I like a lot of everything. :D

Here's some of my workout jams:

CC Music Factory--"Gonna Make You Sweat"
    Noisettes-- "Never Forget You"
    K7-- "Come Baby Come"
    Bloodhound Gang-- "The Bad Touch"
Ace Of Base-- "All That She Wants" (not at all sure why this one. i just like it, lol)
    Haddawy-- "What is Love"
    3OH!3--"My First Kiss"
    Neon Trees--"Animal"
    69 Boyz --"Tootsie Roll"
    Snap--"The Power"
    Ke$ha--"Your Love is My Drug"
Michael Jackson--"Black or White" & "Scream" w/Janet Jackson
    Lady Gaga--"Bad Romance"
The Decemberists- "The Wanting Comes in Waves", "Sixteen Military Wives", & "The Sporting Life"
Marky Mark & The Funky Bunch-- "Good Vibration"
    LaBouche-- "Be My Lover"
    La Roux-- "Bulletproof"
