Just wondering if anyone uses a total gym at home? I have what's called a Total Body Works model but it's very similar to the Total Gym. If you do use one have you had good results from it and how do you calculate your calories from using it?

i have a 'total gym' of sorts (a weider 2 station dealy) that i have not started using again (yes, again...i'm out of the habit of just strength training). to log it, you can select 'strength training' from the drop down menu...it will calculate based on your weight and minutes working out.
good luck...weight training really helps rev up your metabolism so you burn more calories daily.0 -
I bought a Polar Heart Rate Monitor and track my calories that way. It's a small investment but a great motivator if you want to catch yourself cheating. I love my Weider 5000 and am trying to find a good deal on Craigslist for a Bayou Total Trainer but not in a hurry.
