New to forums and semi-MFP

Hey there. I've been on MFP for 10 days now. At first I wanted a digital tool to help me calculate my calories and, more specifically, sodium and fat intake, but have found the people on here to be very inspirational and friendly. I'm glad to be a part of the community and look forward to reading more inspirational stories and advice on my weight loss journey.
A little about me that's not on my profile:
I've been overweight since I was seven years old. My heaviest was 300lbs in 2010, but since then I've managed to lose almost 50 lbs on my own without support or a real strategy. It's been extremely hard, but I'm doing better now that I've discovered people who have a common goal. Hope you all have a great journey for whatever goal you wish to accomplish!

Welcome to your new life.....Most people here consited this a life style change and not a diet...Keep up with your calories and exercise atleast 5 days a week and let the skinny girl come out.0
