need help to lose last 15lbs

I have been struggling for last 1 yr to achieve my goal but have not been able to do it.Finally I got so frustrated that I gave up and gained 5 lbs.Can someone help me with this?

  • I can't see your diary or much other information to make good suggestions. Where are you on your BMI scale? Is it possible you are already in your healthy weight range and your body "likes" where it is? If you are already within your healthy weight range you might not even need to worry about losing anymore weight, just maintaining.
  • in my opinion, if you cant lose any more weight, despite your best efforts, then you arent going to, you are meant to be at the weight you are now. I know we all have a certain number goal we want to hit, but sometimes you just cant, and you have to think about everything you have accomplished, how much healthier you are, how toned you are, etc.

    Oh heck no, you can break past a plateu. It's true your body is always trying to sustain but if you can lose then u have to do one or both of 2 things. Change your intake aka clean it up or if u are going to low increase it and if u are not active become active if u are active change up the routine. U must feel the burn ( not pain) during exercise on a scale if 1 to 10 (being difficult and only able to maintain this for a short spurt) u need to get to a 7 or 8. There will always be plateus when losing weight u just need to re evaluate your goal and change them.

    I am 5'5'' and weight 147lbs ,need to be around 130lbs.I have started maintaining a log now,write every single thing i eat .
    hopefully this works....trying to stick to my 1200 calorie intake/day.
