I'm pretty new around here. I've steadily gained since I quit smoking two years ago, despite the fact that I took up running. I have some GI issues and food sensitivities so my diet is already a challenge. I saw a nutritionist and have some new ideas and things to work on. Sugar. That's my biggest problem area. I'm also trying to make sure I get more vegetables. I get lazy way too often and eat poorly and too much of it. Somethings got to change and it won't happen unless I change it myself. I'm hoping that by tracking my food and holding myself accountable that it will help me in the long run. I would really like to have some friends on here to help keep me motivated. I'm a great motivator for others, not so much for myself. Anyway, glad to be here and I wish you luck on your paths to success!

Hello and welcome. I am new to MyFitness Pal myself. Also congrats on being smoke free for two years, it has been two years for me as well. I don't know about you but I am struggling more to keep weight off then when I going thru the quiting smoking process. And at that time I thought that was hardest thing. Well I wish you the best of luck, take it one day a time. If we can quit smoking we can do this!!!! Have a good week!!!

Thanks so much for the welcome. Yes, weight loss has been much more difficult than quitting smoking was. I give in too easily is my problem but I'm working on that.
