What do you use as a "Motivation Tool"?

Hello Everyone!
I'm fairly new here and just beginning to learn my way around MFP. So far, I am muddling through in the hopes of one day reaching my goal and I am astounded at the amount of support people of MFP so selfishly give. It's wonderful!
I would like to know what some of the members use as "Motivational Tools". Do you use an old photograph on the refrigerator? A dress or old pair of jeans strategically placed in plain sight? I'm in need of some ideas as there are days when I simply do NOT want to get on the bike despite the fact that I absolutely LOVE the way my body feels when I'm through with a trail ride. There are days when I want to have a bowl of Bryers and there are most certainly days when I simply don't make time to make this program work for me!
So... what do YOU do to keep yourself motivated?

I don't have anything to motivate me. I try to see this as a lifestyle change, even when I get to maintenance - and I know that keeping myself motivated for whatever it is won't last forever. I want to make it a habit, a part of my normal daily life!
So my only motivation is - logging into the MFP, but hope to go without it once I reach my maintenance weight...0 -
I sign up for races. Then I'm forced to train for them! If I know I have a race coming up it gets me out of the door running. Otherwise it's too easy to just skip sessions!
Perhaps you could find out about trail riding clubs and events that you could take part in? Might help to motivate you out the door!
Good luck!

I don't think I can top that one...LOL!
Being new and having this on my iphone is a big help to stay motivated.
I think logging into the tracker really SHOWS where you are at. If it is not on there I am not eating it!
so far so good.
Having a plan as I start the day is the best.:happy:0 -

I second this. I'm such a competitive person, that when I signed up for a race with people I work with I had to train because I wanted to be able to first finish, then do well.
Now I just enjoy running!0 -
I also use a gps tracker on my phone. I love my gps lady (voice on the phone) that announces how far I've gone and how many minutes as I walk. It's fun to then upload it and see the map of where I walked and the mile markers. Gps lady is great!!0
