    HEY! I checked for me and my DH's anniversary date--we're celebrating 25 years on Aug. 21--and the #1 song we got married was...

    "Endless Love"!! Lionel Ritchie and Diana Ross

    Now that was prophetic!

    This thread makes me feel very old-- I can sing nearly every song you all have posted here, (even My dingaling, oh, my dingaling!!) and I am familiar with the number one songs of the years before my birth, even back into the '40s-- but I don't even recognize the names of the number one songs from 1990 on, once I started having kids. LOL.

    I LOVE THAT SONG! Had it on a .45 and played it over and over--heck, I still know all the words! Frightening, huh?

    "The night Chicago died, brother what a night it really was, brother what a fight it really was, yes indeed!

    Daddy was a cop, on the west side of Chicago, back in the bad ole' days, back in the USA

    In the heat of summer nigghhhht, in the land of the dollar bill
    when the town of Chicago dieeeed, and they talk about it still!
    How a man named Al Capone tried to make that town his own
    and he called his gang to war against the forces of the law"

    {sigh, oh the memories!!}
