NSV: I cant believe it!

I haven't lost any pounds in over two weeks so I have been feeling kinda down. I exercise everyday usually burning between 2000-2500 calories a week. This past week I joined a challenge to burn 3500. I burned almost 4,000 with a day off!

This morning I was cleaning up my room and when I opened my closet I saw my pre-pregnant spring clothes staring at me. ( I keep them front and center so I can remember why im working so hard.) I first tried on a spring top. The sleeves aren't hugging my arms! My muffin top is significantly smaller but is still there (hopefully in a few weeks it will be hidden) Well I decided to try on a pair of khaki capris size 10 and to my surprise they slipped right on and fit perfectly! I then saw a pair of capris that were a size 8. I debated if I should attempt trying them on but my curiosity won. They went on zipped and buttoned but not ready for public view lol. Which im ok with bc I never thought at this weight they would even button. Lol

I am beginning to realize that my weight isn't as important as my inches. I measure once a week and in the past two weeks I have lost a total of 13 inches. My weight is still the same but my clothes that fit today didn't fit two weeks ago!!

You have discovered a basic truth: an equal volume of muscle weighs more than fat! Congrats to you on not only fitting back into your "skinny" clothes but on increasing your fitness!

Oh happy day!!!! That feels so good!! Especially when you didn't expect it! I added a few more clothes to my closet yesterday from a box of too-small-for-me summer things! Love it!

    Well done on your NSV

I had pretty much the same this week, hit the halfway mark a couple of weeks ago and have slacked off a tad, only losing 2 lbs in 2 weeks (which I was very surprised at to be honest!) but the trousers I tried on the day I hit my halfway point left a triple muffin top...just awful...i grabbed them accidentally on Thursday and they slid on with out undoing them and NO muffin top. I think sometimes your body needs a little time to catch up with the weight lost!
