I've finally done it. I went grocery shopping today, and my cart was filled with fruits and veggies, milk, orange juice, applesauce, whole wheat bagels, cream cheese, and sesame dressing. Not a single thing with high fructose corn syrup. Not a single frozen meal. It's taken me a few months (especially to get over the frozen lunches/dinners), but I've finally done it.

I wish I could get my youngest sister to do that. She doesn't like to take the time to cook anything. She has 3 little girls...all under 10. They are ALL over weight...including her hubby.

Excellent! It's so hard to find a balance with all the things we're trying to watch and change. Natural is best!

Maybe suggest making cooking a family activity; that way, she doesn't feel like all of the responsibility of meal preparation falls onto her.
Another suggestion would be to prepare something that's simple and delicious for her and/or her family sometime and maybe work through the cooking process with her to show her how easy it is.
Also, if it can be done respectfully and politely of course, get her to log her foods onto a site like MFP so she can more easily see what's going into her body. I know that's what really got me started on going healthier.
