Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred Question...

Hi all,
I've been doing the 30 day shred, but I'm not sure how to log this in my exercise diary since I don't have a heart monitor or anything like that. Should I just enter this as circuit training? Any suggestions?

    I log it as circuit training.

    I was entering it as 20 minutes of high impact aerobics. Most people enter it as circuit training but the high impact aerobics burns a little less. I'm glad I did because after I got my hrm, entering it as circuit training would have had me as burning more than I actually was.

    I log it under general aerobics (20 mins = 135 Cal) which I'm pretty sure is less than what I burn, but I prefer to err on the side of less.

    Just recently got my hrm. I was logging as circuit training, general for 20 min....burning 215 cals I think it was. I was pretty spot on with that....using my hrm I am actually burning 241-ish

    I burn between 170 and 199 cals (I have a HRM).....I just created my own exercise and keyed in the info:))

    Hmm... perhaps I need to log my 30ds workout as something different. But under counting by around 50 Cal isn't going to be a big problem since I only have 100 Cal deficit per day. Thanks for reporting the numbers though!

    I am curious... Do the cals burned vary much from level to level?
