Got a new suit

I went suit shopping last week, I kind of had to. I generally purchase my suits from "G&W Men's Wear"...also known as Goodwill to many! My reasoning is I generally wear a suit for an hour a week, when I preach on Sunday morning, and that is it; so there is no point in me paying big money for something that will sit in my closet at all other times unless someone dies.
Well, one of the sweet ladies in my church to reward me for my weight loss and partially because people think I'm looking pathetic in over sized jackets gave me a gift card to JC Penney and said go buy a new suit. Reluctantly I went, even avoiding the clearance racks, but hitting a good sale and was actually able to buy 2 suits. Wore one today and will wear the other next week.
The reason I'm sharing here is because I was blown away by the sizing. The pants were a comfy 34 with room to spare, the jacket was a 42R...even the old barrel chest has shrunk! The biggest shocker to me was the neck size, I have always had a fat neck and usually avoided ties for that reason. I had the lady measure my neck to get a good shirt fitting and...you may want to sit for this, 15 with room!
15 INCHES? ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!?! Yes, and I bought a 15-15 1/2 neck, 34/35 sleeve dress shirt that was marked as "Medium". This is unbelievable to me! Thanks to everyone here on MFP for your encouragement, your tips and prayers! You guys are the best!

DUDE!!!!!! Wow that is amazing man. I'm soooooo happy for you, in that I know EXACTLY what you are talking about with those suits, dress shirts, and ties. SO blessed to hear this story, and I pray that you keep representing the kingdom of God well. God bless!
