Hi, I just started today. I have been vegetarian for 5 years and have been lactose intolerant since I can say "milk". I recently discovered that I am also gluten intolerant because I grow up in a rice-dominant culture. China Study, Eat to Live, and my research in graduate school has made me a dedicated vegetarian while eating out and vegan at home. I had whole food vegetarian diet for several weeks in the past, and I felt great and was able to work out really hard 6 days a week. I fell off my plan because travelling and pressure from friends, people at work, and my family. I am going back to the whole food diet, as recommended in Eat to Live, because I want to feel great again and be strong.

I have been running all my life. During the past 4 years, I started getting serious about the training in cycling and yoga. I also started pilate on reformer recently.

I hope to meet more like-minded people who also want to live a healthy and happy life.

The China Study is one of the best books I've ever read, and I truly believe EVERYBODY should read it!
