I am celebrating the plateau today...
As long as I am on a plateau, I can rejoice in one thing... that I am not gaining!!!
We should be proud of ourselves when we plateau because it shows us that we will be able to maintain once we have reached our goals. Nothing truly good ever comes easy... plateau's make the weight loss journey that much sweeter!!
Happy Friday and remember that above all else... it's the things on the inside--your heart, your thoughts, your attitudes--that really matter!
Keep on keeping on!!

What a TERRIFIC way of looking at it!!!! I love it.
I've been on a purposeful plateau now since the summer started - I like your philosphy - as long as I don't gain, it means I can maintain this weight! I will jump start the whole thing again in September by reducing my calories and upping the exercise.
Keep us updated on your "plateau" status!

You're absolutely right and often times we're so concerned on what we've lost that we don't celebrate the fact we haven't gained! Thanks for helping me thru one of my "plateau" weeks......0 -
I am the master of maintaining if plateaus are a sign of being able to reach a goal and maintain it! :happy:0

I hit a plateau for about 4 months (although I wasn't working out as hard or eating as well as I should have been) but I was also happy that I didn't gain any of my weight back. Just started getting really back into it the last few weeks, and I can already tell a difference.0
