too much ab muscle

So I've been working out for the last 4 months or so, doing something with Jillian 5-6 days a week. My problem now is that though I have some flab left (which I'm working on getting rid of), I feel like my ab muscles are huge, and sticking out further, essentially making my waistline bigger, rather than smaller. I don't want a 6 pack or anything, just to be thin with a little tone. Should I stop doing all the crunches, etc? What can I do to fix this?

try not to do too much crunches maybe and more cardio. They say that cardio is the best exercise to get rid of ab flab.

ill take any muscle you dont want!! LOL
do long periods of cardio so it eats your muscle then...thats kinda sad though....

Hahaha, can I like relocate it? Or stretch it out to make it long and toned looking instead of squat? Maybe I should wait till the later of blubber is gone before I truly make a decision, lol.

the reason that it would appear that you are getting bigger around the middle is because your body is playing catch up... you don't so much as build muscle and burn fat (and slim down) all at the same time... rather, you build lots of muscle, and then all of a sudden your body will start shedding inches... just give it some time....

There is no way you are getting Super ripped guy abs... its impossible to do because there is not enough testosterone running through your body (i am assuming you are a girl)

your body is just playing catch up. But like someone else said... if you do intense cardio it will eat your muscle... but that is counter productive...
