I've read it three times today and am confused.

Thanks!

I follow about a 75% clean eating diet. I really like this blog, http://www.thegraciouspantry.com/, that describes clean eating, how to do it, and why to do it. Hope it helps!

It depends on who you ask. For many people, it means cooking with as few processed foods as possible. Little or nothing that comes from a box or can, etc. Try to keep as many ingredients as possible fresh and without added chemicals or preservatives. Many people expand that to include all organic food as well.

Of course, it's almost impossible to eat totally clean, unless you plan on churning your butter and raising your own chickens, but you get the point. Different people take it to different extremes. For me, I cook from scratch as much as I can, but I will use canned tomatoes, etc., that only have "tomatoes" as the sole ingredient. I don't make my own cheese, either! Good luck!

This site is my reference guide for "clean eating" - I am not a beachbody member - but I think the guidelines here are very sound....

I think of it as Millerll describes - as little processed food as possible and as close to nature as possible. If I have bread or something like that I look for something with as few ingredients as possible (and nothing chemical).
