Well, geez. I think you look cute!! I checked your profile and I certainly don't see where 60 lbs would come off that body!! You'd be a skeleton!! JMHO! Yeah - 10 or 20 could come off and you'd be :smokin: but that's about it from what I see anyway!0

I'd say you weigh about 125-130. But regardless of how much you weigh, you DO NOT need to lose 60 pounds like it says on ur profile. I think you look gorgeous and have all the right proportions!0

Seriously though it's so hard to say though, because people carry their weight so differently
Don't be too hard on yourself
Stick with this site, recording what you eat and working out and the weight will come off...TRY to be patient and do it the right way so it stays off for good (this time)

well your right im 180 lbs - its kinda of embarassing
at the end of the school exams -ive been called fat by some people and i know i shouldnt be affected by that but it didnt help lets say. and im not comfortable with my body. ive never reach this weight before.0 -

well i do see it - because its me... or maybe its the picture ?? but i do an hour walk each day and I dance a lot ... the scale is given me the same number but i do feel some changes...0

How tall are you skittle? I have known several girls that looked good at that weight as they were taller or just were plain muscular.0

well thanks a lot... im not sure excatly if im 5''5 or maybe close to 5''6 ... yea well u must be right i have the same struture of my parents.. i remember my mother thrying to lose weight she was at 120 lbs and she looked soooo thin like scary... its weird how it can look different to other people...0 -
wow 180, I never would have guessed. But you definetely don't look it. You say you dont see any changes on the scale although you work out, thats because muscle weighs more than fat. Just stick to this site, and keep exercising, and soon enough you'll see what we see. You're not big at all!! As for those people calling you fat, they are just jealous that they aren't gonna look as good as you in their prom dresses:flowerforyou: Best of luck girl!0

i second this...weight really has nothing to do with being healthy! For example, I am the same size as a friend of mine, yet i weigh 20 lbs more than her... its all about the makeup of your body, not your weight number.0 -

I think the hollywood stereotype that you have to weigh 105 pounds and eat celery to be happy and attractive has done a great deal of harm to women and their body image. I for one find women of all sizes attractive. I think true attractiveness comes from confidence and just being confortable. Skittles, if you are happy with yourself, then be happy (as long as you are healthy). If not, then lose a little weight. But I can promise you, that 60 pounds is to much for you. Lose down gradually, and feel it out. Don't set a goal weight that might be wrong for you from the very start.0 -
Well said J..well said....try and take it one day at a time and focus on getting healthy....everything else will follow
I'm 5/7 and 'big boned' (love that term..I was on a cruise when I was a teen and some guys came up to me to ask if I was a professional swimmer because of my shoulders...NOT what I wanted to hear at the time...ugh)
I have very broad/wide shoulders..longer arms...thanks to my Czech heritage pretty strong facial bone structure
When I was in HS I was 120's...which is were I'm now (and I'm 35)...I'm about 128-129 (size 4-6 depending)
I think I'm at a comfy healthy looking weight..any less and I think I could start looking scrawny...which isn't good
Everyone really is different and carries their weight differently...
