Hi,

I am a nibbler when I'm at home. I have fruit about the place but often its not really what I want so I end up having a lot or still feel empty.
I am hoping someone might have some ideas for low cal filling snacks that are a bit more satisfying than fruit. Maybe something that boosts the metabolism also
Thanks

Whole wheat biscuit and nuts we always have at home , but I eat slim Jim beef jerky usually if I am really hungry and want snack instead of veggies :P Has also protein so cannot hurt much :)))

Someone posted a recipe here for little egg muffins. Just chop veggies, onions, herbs, seasoning etc and beat into eggs. Pour into muffin tins and bake. For a hundred calories you have a healthy protein filled savory snack. Keeps you full too.

Just posted this to another thread. This is a really nice dip that can be used for veggies or spread on Dutch Crispbakes, and it's lovely!

    Pink Salmon Spread

1 can pink salmon preferably wild
    1 tablespoon pickle relish, drained
    ¼ cup minced celery
    3 tbsp plain nonfat yogurt
1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
    1/3 tsp dried dillweed

Combine all the ingredients in a medium bowl and beat until well combined.
