Which Jillian Michaels DVD would you recommend?

I don't live in USA, so I'm not as up on all the Jillian Michaels DVDs as most of you are. If I were to buy one of her DVDs which one would you recommend? 30 Day Shred? Ripped in 30? Or some kind of combo? I'm a runner so I basically have my cardio covered, but I'd like to have some more toning that I can do from home. Suggestions?

  • All of them! Seriously though, they are billiant but if you are concentrating on toning then definitely either 6 week, 6 pack or No more trouble zones. The 30 day shred is also brilliant and easy to fit in but hasa bit more cardio :)

I am in the UK and have just purchased 6 week 6 pack as my first Jillian DVD. If you do it properly it really does make you sweat hard which I really wasnt expecting from an exercise DVD (I have never really been a fan!) and I also like the way that she shows you how to modify the exercises when they become a bit easier to do AND there is a Level 2 for when that gets easy too.

Have a look on Amazon as mine was only £8 inc P&P

If you are wanting to tone your mid section I'd recommend the 6 week 6 pack. I have it and have only done it once, but its a great mid-section workout. If you are wanting more of an overall workout I'd recommend the 30 day Shred, I did it in March and it kick my butt but I loved how I felt after each workout and I had great results with it. I am 6 days into Ripped in 30, and love that as well. I would recommend doing the Shred before doing Ripped. Ripped is the same concept of the Shred but has some more advanced moves then Shred did. If you do get The Shred or Ripped I would still do a little cardio with it, I've found when I include extra cardio with it I get better results.

Well after much online searching... I didn't actually have much choice. It's all very well being able to buy DVDs from Amazon but if the DVD zone isn't compatible it isn't much use. None of them are actually available to buy here in NZ and the only one I was able to find in Australia was 30 Day Shred. I do presume that I'll be able to play it on my own DVD player... I wish we could buy them all here!
