Strength/Cardio: What Burns More?

I just finished 30 minutes of a kettlebell workout. It is strength and cardio with the emphasis on strength. My muscles are fatigued, unlike when I do the 30 Day Shred, which is more exhausting. I listed the kettlebell workout under "circuit training" and want to make sure the calories burned are accurate. Anyone know if the workout I did is comparable to the 30DS? 30DS is a 20 minute workout, and both of these workouts tire me but in different ways. I sweat a lot doing the 30DS, not so much with the bell.

Usually anything that involves some sort of weight training will burn more calories. Your metabolism actually increases for up to 72 hours after a solid weight training routine. People often make the mistake of neglecting it and just do cardio based workouts. Cardio is good, but I think weights in conjunction with cardio is the best thing you can do.0

For sure. You have to remember that metabolism is based on lean muscle tissue. The more lean muscle mass you have the higher your metabolism will be:) This will help lower body fat faster and keep it off longer!0
