I am hope the next challenge goes better than this one for me.... :grumble: I am doing well today and hope to keep it up for the rest of the week! I think I need to give myself a "cheat day" - and I was thinking I would allow myself to have a cheat day on Tuesday's IF I see a loss on the scale... so if I gain... no cheating... if I did well, then I probably deserve a day to indulge a little bit...

DH and I went to Best Buy yesterday and spent WAY TOO MUCH money on a new laptop (decided to change to Mac - and so far, I love it!!) and a new iPod Touch. The good news is, MFP will be much more accessible for me now. No excuses not to log and check in with you ladies!
I came down with a spring cold on Friday and haven't been feeling like exercising. But, I've been doing pretty good on my eating and staying at or just over on my calories the past few days. I'm on the mend now, so hoping to get back into the gym in the next few days.
DH coaches middle school track and field and they have 3 meets this week. So, I have no motivation to cook anything just for me... Looks like soup and salads the next few days.
I'll check in again tomorrow for the weigh-in. Hope the scale is as kind to me tomorrow as it was this morning!!0 -

Hey sixers!
So glad that it's a new week. I did 5 miles today. I've been working out just about every day and on my rest days I still try to get in some activity. I feel like my body is changing again. and this time in a good way. My love handles feel smaller, my body more toned, and I am feeling happier these days. I also have a lot of good things happening so that may be why! LOL:bigsmile: :laugh:
So in case you don't know, I GOT MY NEW HOUSE! I feel like I keep repeating that. But basically I saw the house, I loved it, I put in an offer, and they took it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-) WOOOHOOO. So, yay! :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :laugh: :laugh: :happy:
And Lauryn, you'll have to update me on where to run/workout and are there any awesome parks there!? :flowerforyou:
Back to my weight loss. I am headed toward my goal of losing this weight and hopefully I will get there soon! I will be starting residency on July 1 and My 26th birthday is July 23 so hopefully I will be much closer to my goal by then!0 -

Still on crutches. It starts feeling better and I get the urge to go to the gym. But I'm going to be patient and wait the full week to heal, and the two weeks to exercise, but it's killing me. On top of that, it's my TOM, which I usually use the gym to get out frustration and water weight. My fingers and legs are so bloated that it is driving me crazy. And everywhere I look, I see people running. I want to be them :sad: :sad: :sad: Soon, I know, soon. So starting yesterday I decided that enough was enough and I was going to eat right, especially since I wouldn't have my exercise calories. So yesterday under my belt, and already planning out today. Let's hope I can keep at it. Who knows, maybe it will stick even once I get back to exercising.

hope everyone else has a great weigh in.
me....i have a niece and her family coming in tonight. already have a pork roast in the crock pot for pulled pork. they haven't told me when they are coming. so picking up the girls from school early so when they get here they can play with their cousins. shanell and DH will all be here when they get off work. i am going out for a walk and than home to clean and finish cooking. making cole slaw **whispers (with yogurt)*** think anyone will notice. DH and i decided we are eating healthy and if you don't like it, you don't eat at my house. he has changed since his blood pressure scare. which i am fine with. need to get going.

Good morning ladies!!
WOW...I'm down 2.5 pounds this week! VERY excited! But I have been working very hard. Have stayed within calories everyday and been exercising everyday. SO...can't say it was without work. And happy that there is something to show for my hard work! YAY!!!

Cathy...I always make things more healthy at our house and no one has complained yet! GREAT plan!

AFM: Feeling GREAT! Last night I did my shred AND got on the treadmill for a quick 2 miles! YAY!! I need to lose 1 more pound to reach my mini goal of 155...reward is the JM 6 week 6 pack! I cannot wait to incorporate this!! And then I decided once I've finished the 30 day shred I will get the JM Ripped in 30! YAY! I have 3 1/2 weeks until my vacation now...need to continue to work hard.

well I am down 1.2 lbs for the challenge but way up from the mid-challenge low of 164... I slacked off and lost motivation... I have big goals for this week and next challenge! here we go!

Yay down another .5 lb for a total so far of 5 lbs! This makes me happy! I started working out FINALLY again since mid Feb. I decided this time I would do Biggest Loser Cardio Max. This is day 2 and my legs and butt HURT. I cringe everytime I know I have to get out of my chair at work, just that up-down movement is killing me. I guess it is a good hurt however! I have a beach wedding to go to in 5 weeks. I really really want to be in a 2piece when we go. Sorry I haven't been verbal on here with you guys recently, I have reading up on everyone, just haven't been replying. Ive been busy at work, with school work, Maddy's softball and even though DH got the trucking job, I have been looking for him a local job!

You ladies are doing AWESOME!!! Last week to really push it.
This is the first time in a long time that I have had to eat without having any exercise calories to cushion things due to my foot. It is HARD. Especially since it's the TOM. But Monday and Tuesday I did it. Usually on the third day I mess it up, but I am determined today to keep it where it is supposed to be (fingers crossed).

Hey ladies, summer is around the corner and pools are opening. Since my foot is bummed, and I'm getting antsy, I decided to look into a swimming program to at least get SOME exercise, but I've been intimidated. But I found this program, which is along the premise of the C25K program, which a gradual buildup. Thought I'd share it with you ladies. Gonna try it out today. I'll let you know how it goes. I'll be doing a total of 28 laps, which seems intimidating, but then so was 5k at first. We'll see...

good morning.
just got back from the gym, and those gym rat wannabes were there. this time they got on right next to me. kept looking over at my stats. if i could have i would have covered it. here i am jogging at 3.3 and 1.5 incline. she's walking at 2.5 at 0 incline. went a whole 15 mins and was just so tired. what ever. give me a break and they smelled so bad of perfume. smells don't bother me. they did. they must have bathed in it before they went.
sorry just one of those moods. was a late night. and someone knocked down a hanging plant outside and it had a birds nest and the eggs broke.
i am not doing #$%t today. i am just watching tv and reading.

Cathy...awe hun...hate "those" girls at the gym! I used to put a towel over the screen mainly so I wouldn't be so focused on it, but would keep them from looking at it also! Good luck. And sorry about the birds nest.

AFM: Had another great night!! Man...SO happy I've found my motivation and will-power again! My old friends!! Did my shred and then ran on the treadmill for 3 miles! YAY!!!! I SO want to hit my mini-goal this week!!!

Morning Ladies! It is hard to keep on track with all these sports events to watch... the Celtics are in the playoffs which means the boys come over and watch the games @ our place... which also means beer and pizza... ugh... and there may be months of this... I need to find a way to keep myself motivated while surrounded with yummy food and beeerrr....

Lost 0.5 lb this week. Not to bad considering that we are going through some changes at home.
Husband got a promotion at work and started Monday. We work at the same factory, he worked in maintance and I work in the shipping office. Well, he has been promoted to night shift shipping supervisor. So, now we don't spend as much time together since I work 7-3:30 and he now works 1-10PM. We used to work the same hours, so got to have dinner together and settle down as a family. It has been like this for over 10 yrs. So for us, this is a big change. My girls really don't like it and really miss seeing their daddy at night.
He has started an exercise regiman and is doing awesome. Me on the other hand tried Zumba for the first time on Monday. It was really fun, and I will do it again next week. Hope to exercise tomorrow, but right now I feel sick. Not very happy considering I'm one of those that doesn't get sick.
Hope everyone that is sick or hurt, feel better soon. And congrats to all those losers on our board.

Shanell...boy, that would be hard! But we all do what we have to do, and things will all work out in the long run. You guys will find something that works for you! And just tell your girls that they can spend some "special" time with daddy on the weekends and then make sure that they do! Good luck! ((hugs))
Em...oh! Pizza is my weakness!! I wish you luck with that! Try and go with thin crust if you can with LOTS of veggies...it's WAY better than the thick cheesy goodness most of us love! You'll be fine!

AFM: Another great night! Weather allowed Kadence and I to go for a lovely run outside (just our 2 mile path last night). Did my shred, then watched a movie. Kadence was also in a super happy mood last night so it was a fun night!
