Hi everyone,
Saw this view HARO (www.helpareporterout.com) and thought some of y'all might be interested. I know that turkey burgers are a health food and that Jennie-O a big sponsor of "The Biggest Loser." Here's the interview contact info and details if you'd like to try!
"Jennie-O recall: seeking ag experts and affected customers"
Name: Rachel Albin (News21)
Media Outlet: News21
***Email: query-14wc@helpareporter.com
***Deadline: 07:00 PM EST - 19 April
Query: I'm looking into the Sam's Club recall of Jennie-O turkey burgers adulterated with an antibiotic-resistant type of salmonella. I'd like to connect with some Sam's customers who bought the patties to ask if they got sick, how/when Sam's contacted them and what the company is doing to make it up to them. Also, the recalled patties are just at Sam's but there are other varieties of the same patties elsewhere. They have different seasonings, but it's still turkey from the same place. To anyone in the agriculture and food industry, how could Hormel/Jennie-O know for sure there was no problem with the other varieties? Would one day's production only include one variety of the patties? Thank you! Rachel Albin, News21
