Another Hope

I'm here today starting because I'm tired of my start and stop methods. I can't find anything I can stick with as far as exercise is concerned as I get bored easily and lack structure.
My diet is somewhat off and on, though not as bad as my exercising habits. I eat a mostly paleo diet, meaning my diet consists mainly of meat, veggies and occasionally nuts and fruits. I strongly believe that this entire "whole grains are essential to health" is an absolute load of crock and it greatly disappoints me to see grains as what the FDA recommends we eat the most of. The biggest chunk of that pyramid belongs to vegetables, which carry a hell of a lot more nutrients than grains ever have - and come packed with fiber as well. Humans evolved without eating dairy, grains or processed crap and I feel we should be eating the naturalistic diet of our ancestors. Doing so will result in better health and weight management.
I lost a great deal of weight eating this way. My skin cleared up. My energy rocketed and I no longer feel the need to nap during the day.
Unfortunately, I'm simply no good at exercising well. I don't believe in chronic cardio or bodybuilding and as much as I'd rather not, I'd like a good jump start in losing at least 15 more lbs. So, I'm considering investing in some good workout DVDs simply for the structure they provide. That, and I hope it'll easier to track my fitness depending on how well I can perform the exercises as time progresses. I'll probably try Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 series for a month or so for the jump start and habit formation before altering to the more paleo style of move a lot at a slow to moderate pace. I also want to get into flow type yoga. I love how I feel after doing yoga, but man oh man - the regular stuff is so painfully boring.
I'm more on this site for fitness than I am for overall weight loss. I'm already pretty thin - I just need to rid myself of the perpetual pudgies around my waist and the irritating back fat that make wearing bras a devilish ritual. I also intend to tone up.
I really hope being on here will help me to advertise my goals, requiring me to upkeep them and effectively meet them as people will be "watching" - and I must admit, I'm incredibly vain and can't stand the thought of failing before an entire audience.
Overall, I am blessed with an awful office job in which I am chained to a cubicle most hours of my day - making it difficult to find time to workout properly and until I move out soon, I'm constantly surrounded by junk food goodies that tempt me all too much.
I just hope the start of his is a path to more likely success as opposed to just another addition to my start/stop habits.
