I thought this website was interesting. It talks about how many extra calories it costs you just by upgrading from a small or medium drink. Or a regular Snickers to a king size. Interesting stuff that can save you a lot of cals!

One of the many reasons I never upsize my meal. I also remove things like cheese and mayo from any burger I get. That cuts a lot of the fat too...I also try not to eat all of my fries (it's hard sometimes because they are very nummy!).
  • If I had a nickel for everytime a fast food person rolled their eyes at me when I wouldn't opt for the "better deal" I'd have a lot of nickels. So what if it's cheaper to get more crappy food than less crappy food? I know if I started out with more, I'd eat more! What am I supposed to do, get the better deal and then throw part of it away? Seriously.... interesting link!

I always ask for a child's drink sized cup and lately I'm trying to keep my meal as simple as possible. I'll just stick with a cheeseburger rather than a bigmac. And I don't order fries, too tempting. Of course it helps to try not to get fast food but, sometimes there isn't many choices when your on the run all day.
