Water weight after surgery?

I was just wondering if its normal to gain weight after surgery? I had a ureteroscopy done on friday and when i went in that morning i weighed exactly 60kg and when i got home that night i weighed 64.1! Of course it is a bunch of water weight and stuff (i had general anesthesia) and i could barely pee the whole day after having the procedure. I am down to 61 again now, i can barely get up. Have been in bed for 4 days now...

I would be curious about this too. I have had 3 bouts of facet joint injections on my back including cortisone and epidural. Since the injections I have gained a stone and look as if everywhere on my body has just been literaly inflated witihn the space of a month. The weight is slowly coming off now but its definitely taking some effort! Good luck with it all and I wish you a speedy recovery and find the answer.0
