okay so i loveeee everything bagels with extra veggie cream cheese from bruggers but weekends are SO difficult for me to stay good and not go over in calories. If i worked out every friday but then logged those calories on for saturday morning so i could have my bagel would i still be going over? or would my body not really no the difference.
does this question make sense btw?
ALSO i always end up eating Chinese food on Sunday....could i work out on monday and count those torwards sunday?
...........lol i know...i sound like a desperate obsessed freak but im trying to break life trends that have followed me forever without actually breaking them.

no, the day is over, the metabolism has kicked in...chalk it up and move on...0

I disagree, your body doesn't automatically reset at midnight each day! there's a certain logic in looking at calorie intake/ expenditure over a week rather than over a somewhat arbitrary 24 hour period.0

I think that you can look at your calories for the week. If I overeat by 200 cals one day then the next day I try to eat under 200 cals so that it will all even out for the weeks weigh in. I think you can do the same thing with exercise0

How about this. Pick one of the weekend days (not both), and have both your bagel and the chinese food that day. Go ahead and go over on calories that day. No remorse, no regret. Your mind and body will thank you.
Edit: let me revise that: have one chinese food meal and one bagel each week. Doesn't matter which day they're on. Make the rest of the week flawless.0 -
If you almost always have chinese food on the weekend, perhaps you shuold have that bagel during the week when you are working out more? I think you can do an overall calories in calories out thing, however it is a really good way to get too lax.0

It's like calorie cycling/zigzagging.0

I agree to an extent...if this is going to be an ongoing pattern...watch to see how your body responds...if you are staying the same after 3 weeks, you may want to change things up a bit!!! If you are losing, then I say go for it!!!0 -
You're body really doesn't work on the principle that it you can even out your calories. Best thing to do is just keep doing what you were doing before. (Minus the going over the calories.)
This is really not a bad thing when it happens. Sometimes it might even break you out of a plateu. But if you are all over the map trying to even everything out, it tends to hinder things.0 -
Try everything bagle thins, much less calories, but still satisfying!0
