I have parboiled rice and the nutrition info says its for 1/4 cup serving. But no where does it say if that aw or cooked. (because rice grows as it cooks) Sorry if this is a lame question but I am not sure if theres some rule out there that says if it doesnt say then it's cooked or uncooked?

hi - I have both short grain rice and basmati long grain rice in my pantry right now. The labels (I believe) are for a dry uncooked measurement.
Rice usually triples when cooked so 1/4 cup dry turns into 3/4 cup, although some rice may become a whole cup.
hope this helps0 -
it does. thanks a lot!0
