Calorie burned on Cybex 750AT

Many people including myself burn off huge amounts of calories on the arc trainer. I burn over 500 calories in 30 mins. My HR according to the machine is 150-160. Has anyone used Cybex with their own HRM. Does it actually burn that many calories?

    The amount of calories burned on the 750 does seem high compared to other machines. I don't think a heart rate monitor alone would confirm this. It is probably a higher calorie burn because if you use the 750 fully, you are moving both your arms and legs rapidly in a wide range of motion, as compared to a treadmill or elliptical with less leg and arm motion. It still feels like a lighter workout to me...
