I had one of those for a week before I realized it wouldn't do the job so I had to buy one with a chest strap.0

you got what you paid for. the ones that you wear on your arm all day and are always taking it are very accurate and helpful. that way you can find out how many calories you burn in a day much more accurately than just picking a lifestyle on this site.0

Not accurate at all. Sorry, you just wasted $8. Get one with a chest strap.0

There are certain items you simply can't skimp on - a good HRM being one of them. I own a Polar and got it on ebay for close to $80. I have typically used Polar and my personal trainer is also a major fan of this brand.0
