10C dilemma!!!

Hey all,

Now at first this might seem like a really shallow problem, especially since I have reached my weight loss goal and there are so many here still on the downward journey.... but have just found myself in a body dilemma that I have never faced before...

Today I had to by a 10C bra.... I have always been a D or a DD, and quite proud to count my ... bust as one of my best assets. Then I had child no. 1 and they grew, but then returned to a D/DD depending on how my weight was (slightly softer, slightly lower, but still pretty OK).

Last night my husband asked if I had lost more weight ("I have" I answered), to which he said that was fine, but don't lose anymore, as my bust is disappearing! So I go to get a bra today and he is right :-( I don't know how to feel about this... on one hand I am feeling pretty damn good about my size, on the other hand, losing my 'former glory' feels pretty sad. I don't know how to 'manage/maintain' my weight, as I get disheartened to see any kind of gain on the scale. Counting calories and logging food has been really comforting for me over the last four months... to look at stopping that is kind of worrying.

So for the ladies: anyone else facing a dilemma over their new body image?
And for the guys: does the bust size of a lady really make that much of a difference?

My bust is shrinking too
I wouldn't worry about it, unfortunately you can't pick where the weight comes off :grumble:

I love my DD's, but would be happy if they were slightly smaller so my shirts would fit properly. As long as they are still perky
