Beans! Get a good recipe for black beans and (brown) rice. My husband makes it (won't tell me what's in it so I have to ask him to make it ;) and it's incredible delicious. I know he combines a can of goya black beans AND a can of goya black bean soup, with sauteed garlic and chopped jarred jalapenos. It's SO good.

Also, google a recipe for black bean chili with pineapple salsa. It's out of this world! :D

My multivitamin contains 100% of my required iron. But if you don't want to take any supplements at all beans and dark greens (like spinach) are very good sources of iron.

I'm not vegetarian, but I did a quick search and found this link that might be helpful to you.
