MY BMR IS 1430 A DAY TO maintain my weight correct? and now my intake is 1200 a day creating a 230 cal deficit ON mfp, this it self is not enough to lose weight. so i exercise and burn about 800 per day so my daily intake says its 2000per day. how much of that do i really eat? should i create a 500 cal deficit from that? HELP PLEASE

Your BMR rate is if you did nothing all day - if you work you need extra calories to burn - you should find the calories you need a day to function with your activity level (your job) under goals - here it shows you your calorie deficit which is what is used to loose weight. Always eat back your workout calories too0

No BMR is not what you need to maintain your weight, maintenance calories are. BMR is what you would need to maintain your weight if you were in a coma. Go to the goals tab and look at calories burned from normal daily activity, this is your maintenance calories. Your deficit is the difference between this number and 1200.0 -
