I like to run...should I keep doing P90X??

I am in my first week of P90X and I am finding that I do not feel I am working that hard, and I am missing my running days. I really dont have time to do the work outs and run due to I get up early to work out and I have two children during the day.
Just curious if anyone else has this issue or what others recommend. I thought about just keeping my running days and putting P90X in between like I did with my regular weight training days but I totally am not really sure what to do.
I am a pretty intense with my fitness so I like to work pretty hard and push myself, so I am just not sure about P90X either lol I mean I know it is hard and I do work, and there are some exercises where I am like 'WHAT" but all in all buring 250 calories for an hour of exercise is not doing it for me......

Personally, I try to do workouts I find enjoyable, otherwise I burn out and hate it. But that's just me.0

Just do whichever exercise best fit you. I do p90x only some day and others I do different as I get bored with it, but surely it is good for strength training. You can try www.bodyrock.tv it is usually a 20 min workout . Hope you will like it!0

P90X will really help tone and define your body. You could always run on the days you have cardiox or kenpox, and do the weight routines.0

I'm also trying to find a balance between P90x and running. What I found is P90X greatly improved my running speed, actually. The plyometrics and legs & back work out also really strengthened my legs. What I try to do now is both. It's been tough working both into my schedule, but I'm seeing awesome progress. I usually always run instead of kenpo X. But I like to get plyo, yoga, and core synergistics in there because they all improve my overall fitness so much! P90X has made my running better.0

Totally what I was thinking, that it was gonna be hard to work into my schedule but just gonna have to see what I can get done. I was wondering if it was gonna improve my runs or hinder them so i am glad to know you have had positive experience with it!!0 -
Shake it up and mix in what you like. Exercise gets boring so do what you love!0
