hey there MFP!! I am creating my class schedule for next semester and I'm stuck between cross training, water aerobics, and racquetball!! Can anyone that does any of these activities tell me a little bit about it...How much calories you burn, does put a lot of stress on your knees, etc! I really appreciate it! Thanks

I have knee problems and love water aerobics for the non-weight baring factor. Raquetball would likely be the hardest on your joints (with all that planting and twisting). Cross training might be the best calorie burn, but also hard on your joints. I'd sign up for water aerobics and then supplement it with some yoga, pilates or other isometric exercise. Good luck!0

I say do something fun that might not burn as many calories but can supplement your current work outs....raquetball sounds like it would be fun.
if you want to make it a primary work out, I think cross training will burn the most calories. I might sign up for it myself next semester.0 -
