Water Retention

So this past weekend I was horrible. I went over my calories Friday and Saturday including Red Lobster Sat night. I know my sodium was through the roof. Ever since this past weekend I feel so bloated and fat, almost like I haven't lost any weight. I was wondering if it's possible that what I ate this past weekend could be causing water retention? I'm not just bloated in my stomach..it's EVERYWHERE! My love handles were almost completely gone before this weekend and now I feel just as big as I did before I lost 10 lbs. I weighed myself this morning and I have gained two lbs so I'm not sure what is going on. Any ideas?

The sodium causes you to retain the water. I have had bad water retention since having my child three years ago and my perscription for it just ran out and I have to wait til the 5th of May til I see my new doctor to fill the script. I defintely know how you feel!0

Anytime you consume a high amount of sodium, the body will retain more water. Make sure you drink extra water on the days you go over on sodium and the following day.0

Reduce your sodium intake.. Reducing suger intake aswell makes your insulin level drop and is also good for reducing water weight. Water retention is often caused by a poor diet and lack in fysical activity. Fysical activity helps eliminating water weight trough respiration and transpiration. But I guess lack of physical activity is not your problem Sure it's not your feelings that are playing with you? I know I can be annoyed if I don't follow my plans accuratly.. good luck anyway.. oh and drink more water, and eating food with much protein, amino acids and kalim is supposed to help aswell...0 -
I stay way under my sodium intake normally..it was just this weekend. It's def not my feelings! lol. I feel exactly like I did before I lost weight. I have to do the "pants dance" just to get my jeans on now! lol.0
