When should I have my protein shake?

I am about to do a very light workout, i'm just dance for 30 minutes, i'll burn like 150. I use protein shakes for my protein source because i'm a vegetarian. Should I go ahead and have it now or after dance?

Because your workout isn't really strenuous, it won't make to much of a difference either way0 -
Protein shakes are meant to be used whenever it's convenient. This makes it easier to keep your protein levels up, without having to cook traditional protein sources, such as chicken, fish, etc.
There's a lot of debate about having protein before your workouts, but there have been numerous studies which have shown the effectiveness of protein post-workout. I'd recommend having them after your workout, but also try it before your workout and see how it affects you.0 -
